ToFS just got easier!

Spell file 04-20-13 now available
Changed NPC spells damage/resist for ToFS and T7.

T5 Abyss Necklace
Basher did the loot list /facepalm
There is a list for 1 of 5 different jewelry items chance to drop at 10% off bosses.
When choosing that jewelry, their individual chances are 50,20,50,50,50 which doesn't add up to 100 (this is the facepalm part)
Updated T5 jewelry to now be 15% chance off bosses. then when selecting which piece has 20,20,20,20,20 chance per item.
This should help speed up getting T5 neck by a lot.

Updated more in ToFS:

Floors
Floor 1 : charm v1 at 1/50 chance, Stone of Resist I at 1/10 chance
Floor 2 : charm v1 at 1/45 chance, Stone of Resist I at 1/10 chance
Floor 3 : charm v1 at 1/40 chance, Stone of Resist II at 1/10 chance
Floor 4 : charm v1/v2 at 1/35 chance, Stone of Resist II at 1/10 chance
Floor 5 : charm v1/v2 at 1/30 chance, Stone of Resist III at 1/10 chance
Floor 6 : charm v1/v2 at 1/25 chance, Stone of Resist III at 1/10 chance
Floor 7 : charm v1/v2 at 1/20 chance, Stone of Resist IV at 1/10 chance

Keys
Bosses on floors 1, 2, 4, 5 should be more common now too.

NPC Root duration reduced from 0.6 to 0.3 minutes
NPC Rain reduced damage by aprox 10-20%
NPC Flux now reduced distance from -4 to -1 for less annoyance of smacking you around lol
NPC Charm now has -2000 MR check. Had zero resistance check before. This zone drops Heroic Stones, so start farming.
NPC Mez now has -2000 MR check as well.

NPC Stonewall I, II, and III:
Reduced to -75%, -85%, and -95%.
Had 50 Duration forumla = never expire, but also had to fade after X damage was taken.
Now duration forumla is same as Heroism (72 minutes?).
Should still fade after X damage taken.

NPC Spell Casting Chance
Cut the values of T7 and ToFS npc proc chance by half (again).
Here are the new values after reboot:

Oh yeah, did a ninja edit on hohonora that I been meaning to do for a long long time, finally got around to it.

Rebooting for hohonora tweak to make slightly easier to resist certain spells.

Root and Charm durations (hopefully) are now set to 0.6 minutes.

Mobs proc chance changed from 7 to 4, so almost 1/2 casting than before.

And for everything else, get your heroic resist up. Give ToFS a chance. You don't need max rank Heroic Stones in every slot else you'd get 5000 resist lol. Just a few low-mid ranks in each slot and you'll probably resist everything 100%.

Seem to resist now 100% at 2120 Total Resist, and resist about 80% now with 1920 Total Resist. Even resisted Charm with 1920 Resist.

Only thing I'm going to tweak for next reboot will be the spell proc chance in hohonora, currently set to 4% might make it 2% or 3%.

Going to give a week or two to see how farming ToFS goes for Stone of Heroic Resist. Can probably farm a rank 5 in just a few hours. Put one (or two, or three) in each of the worn armors, and you'll easily skyrocket to 2-3k Resist. People aren't giving ToFS Stones a chance yet.

Reduced the AoE range on the npc spells for hohonora by more than half for most of them.

Effective next reboot.

These changes look great.   I'm really digging the resist augs, nice implementation.

Ok, the changes to HoH seem a tad excessive.    Avatars have every spell (to include charm) now?     We have to grind avatars for T3 tokens, the spells make it annoying. 

I have 1411 resists on my war.   Avatar of Underworld hit me with curse, poison dot, disease dot, root, stun, and charm.      That seems a bit excessive.

In my opinion, resist checks for HoH should be -600, assuming you need ~350 more resist than the check to resist every time. This allows T2 characters to resist everything with 17-18 rank 4 stones instead, which while still a fairly significant time investment, is not nearly as crippling.

I'll be very interested to hear an anecdote from a T2 player just arriving at HoH for the first time. My guess is that they are going to find the Avatars extremely overpowered, even if you reduce their HP to just 10% of what they originally were. I have UC'd full T4 and half T5 characters dying to unlucky debuff casts. I can't even imagine what its like as a T2 player there.

I do not think a T2 group (charms at 25) would fare well at all in HoH.    As it stands a T5/T6 group can wipe if the main tank gets charmed.     The same would hold true for tofs.   A T2 group would not fare well on even floor 1.    A t4 group would struggle on level 3.   Heck a mis pull of 3 zombies drops any toon with < 500k hp on level 3.

That packmaster II 1500 hit 6k tic with massive healing debuff... very over estimating what t2 players breaking in zone have the ability to do.

A lot of balancing still needs to happen
 even with 3,000 resists this was still hitting me too.

Just as ToFS all spells and roots locking me down at 3,000 resists today

The recourse from the cleric line "Mark of Emperors" needs a higher resist check, kind of silly to resist something that heals you.
