I'm not sure if adding to the drop rate of quest gems is the proper request here.  Removing the leashing seems more appropriate.  Removing the leashing in QVIC doesn't make it easier.  It makes it exactly like we had it... back in our day.

What was the reason to add leashing?

I didn't think leashing was going to get undone, why i didn't ask for it.

I agree with removing leashing, I'm not a fan of it anywhere, it makes any zone with it tedious and removes the fun of being able to go back to a zone that used to kick your ass and return the favor.

For new players whom actually want to play legit and do things themselves the zone is way to easy with leashing.  Just run past everything and just do bosses.   Part of the fun for me back then was breaking into qvic and having to pay attention for adds.  We wiped a lot and it was a fun zone to break into.   Sure, now that people are powerful they can wreck it.  Sucks that things like this get changed just because high levels with gear can rape it.  What else is to be expected when lvl 75s with t6 gear are forced to get essences from a newb zone.

I understand the intent around it but the leashing ruined the fun of the zone.

I think a lot of people dont understand that pulling a train of mobs and then slaughtering them pretty quickly causes a lot of server pressure, which if zones like ldon's and qvic and etc etc werent leashed, im pretty sure EZ would constantly be crashing.

Granted I like THF's way of handling it a little better, but at the same time, you cant have it all, just play the game and have fun, and if youre not having fun then find a new game or server or whatever.

There were multiple changes when the server was lagging including leashing and weapon delay and proc changes.  Can we definitively say the lag issue was resolved by leashing or is that only a theory?

I'd be curious to see if everything was unleashed again and people played as before what the effect would be.

While no one wants server lag, it seems pretty clear that leashing isn't a popular solution either.

leashing in qvic is great for farming essences, but lame for farming gems for armor.

Leashing doesn't have that much of an impact of server performance, the serverwide attack speed was the straw that fixed the camels back.

Qvic was leashed because of the Botters period
