New pet weapons

Just wondering, but I just finished this quest on my mage, but this doesn't seem to be an increase to me. The hitpoint increase is nice but the difference in damage versus loosing the proc off the pet weapon is a big punch. Included a picture that I took before server came down so you can see what I mean:

Oh wait give me a few just realized that I didn't install the spell file from 10-3...just installed the one from 10-2....let me backup and punt Shocked

Nope pictures are the same...doesn't seem to have a proc on it anymore and the dps from the weapon (375base+50fire versus 500 base damage) seems rather weak for a quested fireblade3.

Ok on a test dummy in surefall looks like the proc is the same (with 7.0 pet) 50,082 non-melee proc on both the ornate and the fireblade v2.

Umm....are you sure that isnt the pet proc? Cyclone Blade isnt a DD as far as I know....and definitely not for that kind of damage.

Orthanos, have you tried parsing them? I know it will seem off and seem like a weak upgrade. I need a 10min parse of a pet using FBv2 and then OWS. If the DPS increase isn't sufficient based on the parses, then I'll step in to fix it.

Pets seem to only benefit from the "BaneDMG" or "Elemental" damage from weapons... (weapon damage doesn't do anything)

and only on ONE weapon (for banedmg / elemental) it looks like.. so if its dual wielding it seems to only grab the mainhand (or offhand if they have no mainhand) --

This is for melee dmg.. they however do benefit greatly from weapon procs
