Just update that I'm alive, and power just came back on here finally after 1 1/2 days.

Got plenty of emails to read and reply too, but will take some time.

Glad to hear you're ok, Hunter....and hope your family fared well.

Earthquakes suck. I still have nightmares about the 89 Santa Cruz quake, and that was only 6.9.

That website had lots of pictures and videos of the earthquake.

There is a video showing church collapsing and people running.

Another video showing dead bodies under the rubble.

My family here is ok thankfully. Read some where about 144 deaths and 37k displaced, although probably updated more by now. We probably live 20 miles from the epic center.

Soon as the aftershocks stop, and my nerves settle, will take a look at the Halloween Event to maybe add new stuff to it for this year Oct 25-31.

I know it doesnt fix everything but having power and comunications can a least be a small comfort and help with finding out what is going on.

Its been 2 days now, and I just got woke out of bed by a powerful aftershock.

Websites reporting 900 aftershocks so far with some of them being 5.0's.

No offence to the News, but if i had a aftershock of 5.0 hit me, i wouldnt call it a aftershock. I'd call it another damb earthquake Lips sealed

Initially an aftershock was simply another quake thats triggered from an earlier one, or related to it in a series. However, to avoid confusing the masses, a university in California decided to start reclassifying the heavier aftershock the main quake and the smaller, earlier quake the "foreshock".
