I have googled and looked on the net for this to no resolution... please..

Is there a command for MQ2(winEQ) to turn off pet hold?
I wish the pet to defend the toon if i am attacked without commanding it to.

Thank you in advance.

In that case, unless you tell your pet to hold, the default is for the pet to defend you.  You shouldn't have to do anything to have it attack any mob that does damage to you.

this is my attack button
"attack" button
/bca //target id ${Target.ID}
/bca //stick 12 UW behind
/bcaa //attack on
/bcaa //pet attack

the pet will get target from owner? and attack whatever mob.
but yeah just standing there, if something connects, pet will eat it, unless you told it to play dumb.

Hi there,

I have an issue with my WinEQ2.
I had to leave EZ 2 years ago for personal reasons and want to restart again with this great game Smiley

As my computer crashed, I have to re-install everything Sad  I was used to the boxing-software : WinEQ2, MQ2, EQBCS

Now there is a new client : ROF2 and I installed it perfectly.
But when I start this client using my WinEQ2, it start the UF-client and not the ROF2-client.  I'm pretty sure that I linked my main toon in WinEQ2 to the right client.

Did I miss something here ?
And is this boxing-software such as WinEQ2, MQ2, EQBCS still up-to-date or are there newer versions ?

With kind regards,

ALRAZOR

No idea.....I dont use wineq, just mq2...and for that, yes, there is a specific version you need for RoF2 on EZ, and its found at mqemulator.net, classic version for RoF2, not just RoF.

You have to specify the path for the shortcuts. If you set it to the wrong folder it's going to open up the wrong client.

Yes, I use MQ2 for ROF2 and yes, the shortcut is pointing to the ROF2-folder.
Chunka, how many toons are you boxing without WINEQ2 ?  So you intend that WinEQ2 is not needed to box ?

I box 18 without WinEQ2 and its fine. The only thing that i wish I could do was set a hotkey to cycle through all my boxes. I have logged them in the same order and i know which box is what, but crashes will eventually happen and they eventually get jumbled. There may a way to set up such a hotkey, but it hasn't been a big enough problem for me to look into.

I really only use WinEq2 because I like how it puts character names in the taskbar. And when I am drunk that is super useful for me. If theres a different way to do that without WinEq2 I want to hear it.

Alrazor, you can resort things in a group in the taskbar using 7+ Taskbar tweaker.

I use wineq2 and it's great just for the autologin plugin.  You need to make sure that you set up profiles for your characters under options > preferences > EQ > profiles, making sure the new profile is also pointing to the ROF2 folder.  I don't NEED to use wineq2 to play, but for the autologin and cycling forward and backward through windows and being able to assign hotkeys to hot swap between, I find it much more convenient.
