Did a metric tuckfun of parsing today, experimenting with Combat Discs and AA discs interacting with Ult Wpns. Sorry in advance Sona, cover your mage's eyes!  Lips sealed
Buffs: SHM 9.0, RNG Huntmaster II, ENC VT2. MNK t3 clicky self-buff, ZERK t3 clicky self-buff.

UW XI 2hander on all except rogue using dagger. All using UC3. Tests in 500s duration, only doing 2 trials each since this is going to involve a lotttt of discs / AAs to be tested.

Monk (Ear 16):
Base:                                 9.318 mil --- 9.613 mil
Innerflame Disc:               10.944 mil --- 11.485 mil ~19.5% dmg increase
Glyph of Courage AA:        10.782 mil --- 10.185 mil ~12% dmg increase
Glyph of Courage AA + Innerflame:    14.042 mil Accidentally had Innerflame running for the first test so added this.

Glyph of Courage only seems to modify Spell Critical damage, but gives them a hefty bonus. UWXI proc was doing 19,707,187 damage critical blasts, up from 13,735,312.
Almost every monk disc / AA effect their secondary attacks, which really do nothing on EZ so there isn't much to play with here  Cry

Zerk (Ear 0):
Base:                                10.045 mil --- 10.463 mil
Savage Spirit AA:            20.795 mil --- 20.454 mil ~99% dmg increase (All melee become Crippling Blows)
Cleaving Anger Disc:        15.602 mil --- 16.507 mil ~58% dmg increase (Some melee become Crippling Blows)
Blind Rage Disc:             14.537 mil --- 13.893 mil ~39% dmg increase
Reckless Abandon AA:     13.093 mil --- 12.279 mil ~25% dmg increase
Vengeful Flurry Disc:       11.617 mil --- 12.136 mil ~16% dmg increase

Cascading Rage AA: Shows up as a debuff, which fade in city zones so unable to parse. Also adds a proc without a current spell id.
Blood Pact AA: Buff works, but no spell id exists on EZ for the proc it's supposed to add. 0 dmg gained.
Vehement Rage AA: 10.295 mil ~0% dmg increase (seemed to do nothing, didn't bother testing again)
Unpredictable Rage Disc: Disc seems to works and procs the proper stacking Song, but it fades instantly. 0 dmg gained.
Ancient: Cry of Chaos Disc: This was more of just a test to see if Hundred Hands Effect bypassed the server delay cap of 35. For those that don't know how Hundred Hands worked in actual EQ, it takes a % of the delay on your weapon and after all haste calculations are complete, subtracts that number directly from your hasted delay. AKA 100 delay on Ult Zweihander going down to 35 with max haste on EZ, Hundred Hands would take 5% of the 100 delay and subtract it from your current 35 delay, making it 30. However, it does not work as I thought Wink 0 dmg gained.

Rogue (Ear 0) Ult Dagger XI + Tserennia Whip with NS XI + NS VIII:
Base:                                   13.302 mil --- 13.189 mil
Frenzied Stabbing Disc:       27.120 mil --- 26.903 mil ~104% dmg increase (Shortens backstab cooldown)
Duelist Disc:                        15.261 mil --- 14.961 mil ~15% dmg increase
Rogue's Fury AA:                 14.569 mil --- 15.013 mil ~13% dmg increase (Buff overwrites Tserennia proc recourse and blocks it from proc'ing for the duration)
Weapon Affinity Disc:          14.184 mil --- 13.489 mil ~6.5% dmg increase
Deadly Precision Disc:        0 dmg gain, shrug

Warrior (Ear 50) Hatestomp III:
Base:                                 17.739 mil --- 18.042 mil
Savage Onslaught Disc:     42.691 mil ---  44.959 mil ~149% dmg increase (All melee become Crippling Blows)
Mighty Strike Disc:            21.637 mil --- 21.359 mil ~18% dmg increase (All melee become Critical Strikes)
Fellstrike Disc:                  21.086 mil --- 21.007 mil ~17% dmg increase
Was always curious which one of these was better, as they share the same disc timer. Mighty Strike is victorious!
Glyph of Destruction:        22.318 mil --- 22.652 mil ~25.5% dmg increase

Starting to work on parsing the augs, will add more later. Both of these ran for 4000 seconds and both level 78 using Ult Charm 3.
Buffs: SHM 9.0, RNG Huntmaster II, ENC VT2. ZERK t3 clicky Over Raided Zerker Haste.

Pally (FS XI + FS XI) using Neriak Warhammer: 1.399 mil

Zerk (FS XI + FS XI + 9.0 Epic Proc / Click) using Freeport Slasher: 2.164 mil

Seems like the Firestrike boys took a massive hit from the VT changes. Bard with UC2 outdpses both of them, but I was going to wait until bard got UC3 to post a parse.

Buffs: SHM 9.0, RNG Huntmaster II, ENC VT2. Duration 500s. Level 78 using Ult Charm 3.
DPS Songs Used: Timeless War March of Muram II, Tempest Blade IV, Harmonious Comp III

Weapons: Tserrina's Whip (NS XI + NS VIII) and Saw Bladed Scimitar (NS XI)
Bard: 3.334 mil - 3.305 mil - 3.174 mil - 3.298 mil

The first 2 tests I used the Whip mainhand. The last 2 tests I used the whip offhand. Turns out the weapon with less White damage is the better mainhand, just from slightly more proc damage.

The new bard DPS is a combination of two things. Firestrike getting pooped on by VT when it was already far inferior to Ninjastrike to begin with, and the addition of Triple Attack to the Bard's arsenal. So how do they stack up to other Ninjastrike users with the new Triple Attack? Find out next time on Dragonba.... jk I'll let you know when ranger finishes UC3  Roll Eyes My monk and rogue have moved on from using such augments if somebody feels like adding.

All you have to do is download Gamparse (gam not game) run a character to the dummy (use a QRG instance so buffs don't fade, don't use fighter guild)
Once at the dummy, hit ALT + O, go to filters, under Spell Damage select show mine. Once done type /log on and start swingin away! When you're finished, type /log off and re-filter the Spell damage. The important things about parsing are 1: You must be able to see all damage in your combat log while doing it and 2: only parse the character from his POV and his log file. Any other characters' damage picked up will be inaccurate.

And to all the people that constantly bug me about is the whip still worth it. All 4 of these parses have the Bard's DPS breakdown being: 97% proc damage 3% physical damage. Yes you use the whip. Your precious 2500 white damage does not matter. You'll use the whip in t7, t8, t9, t10, (i'd keep going but need to see what Hate does with weapons first  Tongue )

I was test 1year ago. here

QRG dummy DPS > FG dummy DPS
all my results are by FG dummy.

Cannot parse discs on FG dummy, because it is not a city zone. I did not know there was a difference in the dummies though. My only reasoning was the buffs thing. If you want to parse any cooldowns, they will fade inside FG.

Both dummies are level 70, but it seems the FG dummy has AC and the QRG dummy does not. Weirdddd

Does anyone have a parse of Mage/Necro/Enchanter with summoner's pack and a high level UW? for a DPS comparison to actual DPS class (e.g. rogue, monk, zerk)

I did one on my mage not long ago, but I don't think it recorded the pet damage correctly. UW8, UC2, MN 11, with standard mage buffs and huntmaster 2.

Flin is alone with the grimoire. I stab it, no wait I backstab it! You can't backstab it, you can't sneak attack an inanimate object. Why not it's prone? It doesn't have a discernible anatomy. It's got a spine doesn't it? *Rolls a 1 and stabs himself.

Idea for Caster Earring:

Would something like this be possible to play around with?

Focus Effect: Master Summoner I
1: Pet Power Increase (25)
2: Limit: Max Level(85)
3: Limit: Min Level (75)

Focus Effect: Master Summoner II
1: Pet Power Increase (50)
2: Limit: Max Level(85)
3: Limit: Min Level (75)

Focus Effect: Master Summoner III
1: Pet Power Increase (75)
2: Limit: Max Level(85)
3: Limit: Min Level (75)

Focus Effect: Master Summoner IV
1: Pet Power Increase (100)
2: Limit: Max Level(85)
3: Limit: Min Level (75)

Focus Effect: Master Summoner V
1: Pet Power Increase (200)
2: Limit: Max Level(85)
3: Limit: Min Level (75)

By the way, I have no idea if PP foci work without defining a range of the pet as I did above, I just copied how all of them look from actual EQ 1 items. The 2nd and 3rd slots define the level of the pet (or spell? not sure which)

Quote
The pet power number doesn't do anything. The focus summons an entirely different npc while it's worn during summoning, and that npc's stats are predetermined by whatever the dev put in the DB.
