So if you do turn ins for say UC3...you turn in one green one silver and one red...then turn in 99 green 99 silver then 99 red?

no, if you have 0/300 scales turned in and you have 100 of each in your bags.  you turn in 1 the old fashioned way, drag, trade, ok.  then when you hail him again he will give you the option of turning in all the rest at once.  was super easy for me.  YOU STILL CANNOT HAND PILES TO NPCS.  as previous poster mentioned.

Worked for me just picking up the quest, 100 of each. Will test again later, may be a RoF vs UF issue. I'm on UF.
