Is there a list of zones that are playable/non playable on EZ server? I wasn't able to zone into some old PoP zones and as far as I know the old PoP flagging quests don't work?

there are a few zones that have been made custom. Some of the planes included. Can't remember all of them off the top of my head but..potimea, postorms, pofire is custom but avail to anyone 47+, poair is the new content i think...is hohonor custom too?..cant remember.

All zones up to LDON should be accessible (maybe only the custom LDONs though, I don't think actual instanced-LDON is available here, but I have no clue how those even worked, I quit EQ before LDON..)

Some zones are custom, like Airplane (is Plane of Gods, T4? zone, must be flagged), BoThunder, PoFire, Fearplane are accessible to anyone (of appropriate level) via the custom zone npc.  So is Sebilis and Veeshans Peak and probably a couple other "keyed" or previously keyed zones (via non-custom npc)..

Many zones still require keys to progress within, Sebilis (or a lockpicker), Ssra I think, VexThal, umm Najena...  Grin

This is from memory so...

* Surefall Glade (qrg) is custom, starting zone, you probably figured that one out..  Prestige quest (aka "Ring of Ages" or RoA) starts here.  Teleporters to other zones.  Noobie item V1 returns you here.
* Nexus is the higher-level "city" origin zone.  Teleporters to other zones incl. LDON. Qvic and Caster's Guild/Fighter's guild quests start here.  Noobie item V2/charms return you here.
* Field of Bone is custom 1-10 levelling zone.  Custom newbie gear and make sure you do the quest for the pre-nerf Circlet of Shadows, you'll want it!
* Paludal Caverns is custom 10-20 levelling zone (drops Kunark class armor)
* Mistmoore is custom 20-35/40 zone (drops Velious class armor and Sleeper's Tomb weapons)
* Dulak is custom 35-60 zone, must be under 61 to enter/stay in zone (drops Luclin/VexThal? gear)
* Fearplane is custom 46+ zone, drops the same stuff as Dulak.
* Torden, Bastion of Thunder (bothunder) is custom 60-70 zone, drops PoP gear I think...
* Plane of Time A (potimea) is custom, drops even more ubar gear, and epic 1.5 pages.
* "LDON" is 6 custom zones from LDoN, they're non-instanced, can be soloed, gear and 2.0 pages.  You must start at 1 and proceed all the way thru to 6 (you can't enter 2-5 directly) after you get to 6 for the 1st time you're given a key to re-enter #6 anytime you want.  You can go back from 5 to 4, 4 to 3 etc, but NOT back from 6 to 5.  (In other words getting to #5 is a bit of a chore...)
* Plane of Fire is custom, must be 47+, no loot at all, just a levelling zone.
* Qvic is custom, must be 70.  gear and epic 3.0 tokens(?).
* Tacvi and up is custom, must be flagged.

Plane of Fear is level 46+ with Dulak gear.
Tacvi and up requires 3.0 Flag.
postorms is Plane of Dragons and has T1/T2 gear.
hohonora/airplane is Plane of Gods and has T3/T4/Epic4.0 gear, and requires T2 BP to Enter.

Did you mean Plane of Fear Hunter? Fire has no dulak gear and can't be entered till 47 :-P

Aside from zones that are custom or have lvl requirements, I'm assuming any of the old PoP zones that won't allow me to zone in (tactics, powater, potimeb etc) are inaccessible and the flagging quest that was on live doesn't work? I know the loot that were in these are basically useless but the nostalgia of the zones and encounters would be fun Smiley. Love this server though, I haven't had this much fun in EQ in years.

Yeah I wanted to do Airplane too, oh well.

Knocking around VP is fun though.  ToV too, though last time I went someone already killed all the dragons, except LtK which I solo'ed pretty easily even with like 5 adds on me.   Grin

So does this make Plane of Fear a custom zone with all custom zone rules applicable?  Or just the loot table is changed yet remains a non-custom zone?

i would say any kind of loot table altering would make it a custom zone, not to mention is shows up on the port list for Custom Zone Teleporter
