I am writing this post to introduce myself to the community and attempt to offer something back.

A couple weeks ago, a friend finally convinced me to give this server a try.  He and I have played on EQ servers together off and on since the live release of Kunark and are always looking for an enjoyable EqEmu experience.

When I initially began playing on this server, I took it to be just another god mode server that you could master within an hour.  I quickly came to realize that the server was not EZ at all, but actually had a long drawn out progression structure available.

I realized that we needed to get serious, figure out logical boxes, and get to work.  So far, we each play a clr/war and monk/bard box and are LDON geared with all 2.5's.  We are in the process of farming our warriors Ring of the Ancients and as tedious as it is, we realize that it is necessary to progress to Qvic.

So far we have done virtually everything ourselves except for MoW, which seems to be unreasonably difficult for his reward.  We had help on our first couple Dragon Slave kills, but the help was not necessarily invited and I know that we would have managed it eventually.

The point of my post, however?  I want to thank Hunter for this wonderful server and the community for assisting in making it great.  This is easily the best EqEmu server I have ever played on and  it is exciting that I am not even half way through conquering the content offered.  As for the community... aside from a few particular individuals, I have met nothing but polite and considerate human beings on the EZ server.  Thank you.

In my own small way, I want to give back to the community by offering an hour a night of my own time to anyone who reserves it first.  If you are new to the server and have taken the time to look up the forums and read this post, please feel free to message me here or in game and I will schedule with you an hour out of my evening where I assist you with anything 2.5 or below.  (Minus MoW)  I can help you get any 1.5 pages or book or any 2.0 pages, for one hour.

That is very generous of you Consumer and I am sure there are some people out there, like me, who would be happy to take you up on your offer.  Especially since I don't get to play that often.

It was nice hanging with you in HHP waiting for the PGT to drop a little the other night.  I was there for about 3 hours after you left.  Grin

This is very gracious and the server needs friendly helpful people like you. When you need Qvic help and TT kills please let me know and I will be happy to help you with these. Also if u are looking for a guild please feel free to contact me in game or message me here and I would be happy to give you a home where you can progress further.

That is mighty cool of you man, may take you up on that, so that I may pay it forward later.  This is part of what makes MMOs so cool, is the ability to do this for people.
