I came across this, and thought it would/might be useful to update to work on the newest clients.
http://ezserver.online/forums/index.php?topic=1501.msg19884#msg19884This is a MQ2 plugin that filters auctions from the ooc channel and moves into the auction channel.
e.g.
Reddwarf says out of character, `WTB SLS 250k ea'
will become
Reddwarf (From OOC) auctions, `WTB SLS 250k ea`
The (From OOC) is just so you know it was originally a ooc message.
Extra bits from the code (tag and ignore) are removed, as they didn't work correctly, and ignore is built in the clients.
All this does now is monitor the ooc chatter in the background for:-
WTB - WTS - WTT - selling - buying - trading for - rot - rotting - GI - pub
Those are the most common auction / rot prompts.
If any of those key words/phrases appear in ooc, it will put the message to the auction channel.
The only issue is if a key appears in a none auction discussion, hopefully this should be minimal.
These key words can be amended in the code and re-compiled if required.
Included in the archive are UF and RoF2 compiled dll's, along with the code, if you wish to compile yourself.
As no server rules are being effected with this plugin,

Download HereTo Install, copy the .dll to your macroquest2 folder, then either
1. edit the macroquest.ini
add mq2chatutilities=mq2chatutilities to the plugin section, save and load as normal, or
2. when in game, type /plugin mq2chatutilities
