than say, monk or rogue?

is there some AA related to spell casting that rangers get but obviously monk/rog/etc melees don't?

reason I ask is, I have both a ranger and a monk with UC1 and NS9. both are maxed on AAs. both do the exact same dmg on a Ninjastrike non-crit, BUT the ranger hits about 20% harder on a crit-strike Ninja proc.

If so then its something from the last source coding pass. For a short time hybrid NS classes got an AA that made them crit harder, but it was fixed/changed/whatever about a month later. If its back then it probably isnt intentional. Last parse I did (May) rogue/monk both were crit kings for procs because of ingenuity.

Bruss = monk
Wahlk = ranger
both have UCv1, Ninjastrike IX(9) and VT(1)

about 10% more dmg

Is it the ranger secrets self buff? I can't remember if that impacts spells at all.

He has Secret's, but that's +30% to skills, shouldn't affect spells, and they both have the same dmg on a non crit.

Only other difference is ranger has epic 7.0 and is 76, monk is 75 with 6.0 ..

I got one....T10. Completely unimpressive dps last parse. I think if I unbenched any of my team when I return this week it'd be the SK.

Just curious. Finally got monk uc and wondered why he crit slightly less. I haven't parsed, but figured monk would come out slightly ahead due to crab fu overhaste

I deleted my t10 ranja....he was just a waste of space

The rangers hit harder because of the spell crit dmg aas they get (I haven't been playing much since may so I can't remember the name of the aas), it's the same with bards. Paladins and SKs should also be critting harder with FS than ber if anyone takes a look.
