Hi all, I'm coming back after a several year hiatus and wondering how I should set up my groups? In the past I ran a crew of 18, these are the toons I had:

Warrior
Paladin
Cleric
Ranger
Bard
Berserker

Enchanter
Rogue
Berserker
Wizard
Druid
Monk

Necromancer
Shadowknight
Paladin
Magician
Shaman
Beastlord

I wasn't really in the high tiers, I was working on getting t3/t4 and 4.0 for all of them. I'm wondering how I should set up my groups, or if there are any classes I should swap out for another class.

I'd really appreciate any advice.

I would drop the beastlord and add a pally to the second group...maybe drop the bard for another dps like a second warrior or zerker or another necro

I love having two Warriors and always recommend this. You don't need two in the start, but later on it can really pay off in many ways. Send me a tell in game (Sarthin) if you have any questions.

Thanks for the answers. Is there any advice posted anywhere for which classes should group with which?

Honestly just about any combination works as long as you have a tank that can live through a combat round and heals that will keep him up. With rampage being removed from most every non T10 zone, support members can be just about anything you want them to be and not require much for healing if at all. Some classes shine in certain tiers and become a liability in others, so the optimal setup is going to vary by tier. I'd suggest just jumping on and testing the waters a bit with content current to your tier, if you have any content specific questions don't hesitate to ask in /ooc.

If it's your first group, make characters that can assist with leveling more.

If i were to settle on a final two-group meta, it would be;
War, War, Pal, Cler, Sham, Monk
Nec, Nec, Nec, Nec, Druid, Pal

But that's completely based on my play style, and possibly not yours.

Tnonim has a completely different method, and has conquered everything with just 6.

War / Cleric / Ranger / Pal / Mage / (Monk or rogue, i can't remember)

Group 1 = 5 mages + pally
Group 2 = 5 zerkers + pally
Group 3 = 1 warrior, 1 druid, 1 shaman, 2 pally

yay! good times
