Thanks for the pet. Wait nm, I cant hail it to get buffed so I get to kill it, summon a normal enc pet to get buffes, remem spell and /q. Come back in just to be like any other fucking caster with a pet.

If it wasnt intended I would be interested to know the logic behind it.

Well the big pet is 240k, meaning it can actually tank mobs that many warriors can't at that level. That's a nice ability to have...

How is the pet supposed to out aggro dps and other tanks though?  My chanters T2 pet has never once got aggro before with my SK tanking, while my BL pet and even cleric have both pulled aggro before. Heck there isn't even a command to make the chanter pet attack, taunt, or do anything for that matter...

Well that's a separate issue Smiley The high hit point pet was supposed to keep spewing aggro spells. I don't use it, is that aspect broken - it's the T3 pet?

I brought this issue up before on the original ENC pet thread.

I think how EQ dynamics work is, if there is any PC engaged to a mob it will attack the PC over the pet, in all situations.

Kind of gimmicks the usefulness of the pet. But if it doesn't work this way.. then ill bow out Wink

I don't have the T3 pet yet Crab, I am just finishing up T1 with my 4 characters, and only have the T2 pet.  I imagine the T3 chanter pet is the exact same piece of worthless garbage that the T2 pet is, just with more hp.

Just make the pet spam root like the mage pet does. Maybe add a stun proc too for good measure.

Well that is nice and all - but still doesnt explain the logic of having an ENC pet that cant buff you when a useless minion can be summoned to do just that.

My expectation would be all usefull pets should be able to buff their master. Its a perk of being guilded.

That makes sense.

T3 Warrior pet doesn't buff, t4 zerker pet doesn't buff either. Actually neither does much of anything.

Perhaps its an issue with coding - one of those things we just have to tolerate because fixing it is probably more trouble than playing the pet dance.

Yea its not intended to be buffed off of. However every other god damn pet can be.
The logic behind it is so stupid it amazes me.
Its the ez server, we want some shit to be easy. Buffing off pets is nice, easy and im damn lazy.
This pets kind of cool, kind of fun, totally freaking worthless in my opinion. Sets a bad precedence.
