LOST PLAT ON WAYPOINT

We are (rarely and randomly) getting people with their credits for Waypoints wiped out for no apparent reason. Myself, and others, are about to review the code and try to find out why.

My advise would be to only deposit the amount of plat that you plan to use right away until we figure this out.

My players just started experiencing this issue as well. I can't imagine it having to do with any current revisions. We'll have to post on EQemu.

Akkadius: does this match up to what your players are finding?

Scenario: PlayerA deposits 100k.
PlayerA finds his 100k deposit is missing, PlayerA scratches head.
PlayerA now deposits only as needed.
---some time passes---
PlayerA should have no money in the waypoint system.
PlayerA finds his missing 100k randomly.

This has happened on EZ Server on a couple of occasions.

Yeah it's off and on. I think King Mortenson from KMRA had a similar issue with it since he uses the same concept in many things.

Happened to me alot, even instances for guilds dissapear before even 2 hours. i only pay as needed.

first reported this relatively early to hunter via email, i had about 40k on deposit and the following day had 0.
Now, not exactly sure if it ever magically appeared back as i didn't pay much attention to it.

Since it did happen though, i generally only deposit near what i need at the time. Its a slight inconvenience but no way more inconvenient than not having instances available

This has happened to Greensleaves and myself as well. Since we steamed SOD/SOF prior to the d/l revision, we simply carry our coin with us - as weight factoring is removed. If we need to x-fer, we switch between ourselves.

I'd recommend that our one-box players consider making a second Server Login and make a toon specifically for personal banking purposes.

would be amazing if the way points banks could be linked.
