Maybe I didn't get the memo.

I went this morning with my proud level 51 3-box for some dragon hunting....

but, but, no loot !? just dragon meat ! Where are the necklaces and the dragon armors ??

Thats news to me since they use to drop the necks and armor. Keep at it and see if it was just a bad run.

well I killed Von and Glati this very morning, to no avail.

I'll try again later, but I do hope it was just a streak of bad luck.

Dragon Armor and necklaces weren't 100% drop chances.  The level 57+ dragons had less on their loot table and dropped specific pieces up to Matchless quality.  Those are what you want to be hunting.

When Velious first came out those mobs had more loot on them, but within a couple months they were nurfed. I remember soloing WW Dragons with my druid like 8 years ago, they rarely dropped decent loot.

Von and Glati are weak and have crap drops.  Do the ones near ToV entrance, incl Sontalaak.  The ones inside ToV too, if they ever spawn... I did kill Lend. the Keeper in west and got her necklace, pretty nice RoA item (no level reqs).

I ended up deleting the drops I got and used stuff from other zones to RoA

update :

killed the ones in the valley where ToV is.
got a few pieces of armor, abt 1 spell per dragon, meat and words/rune ?

So eventually back to normal. My recollection of the past must be failing, selective memory and such, since I remembered and expected a bunch of spells and one piece of armor per kill...

anyway, was fun killing dragons Smiley

I believe it should be chance for one armor high, possible chance second armor very low and spells randomly one to four. At least thats what I remember from years ago on live.
I do like killing dragons.

IIRC correctly the roaming far out ones didnt drop much except some quest items.

It would be cool if Hunter lowered the respawn time on this zone. I wouldn't want to see any loot or mob changes though, just keep it as is for the most part for nostalgia purposes.
