I just started a necro to level up with my sons SK. He wanted us to have evil toons. Anyway, i am going to try to knock out 1.5's for both of them tonight. Now for my question ,,,, how much does this pet heal for ? And how Bout the other epic pets if you know.

I think necro's 3.0 pet heals for 1k proc, and with oracle 2k but I'm not too sure. My necro has about 30k health and each click with focus lev 2(lev 11) oracle heals about 3-4% of my health. But he procs very often. Hope that helps.

When I got my 1.5 epic on my necro a 3.0+ necro told me not to use the blood pet as the 70 pet was better. He stated that the heal from the 1.5 pet isnt worth the loss in damage from the regular 70 pet.

For survivability 1.5 pet is better, though true you are losing some dps it's heal proc isn't bad for a 1.5 and if you have him use a pallys defender he procs with that weapon as well. IMO from my exp 1.5 is better. The order goes 3.0>2.5>2.0>CG pet>1.5>spell pet.

Thanks for the info . I dont mind giving up a little dps if the heals help keep us alive. I am doing this for my 8 year old. As long as he is having fun playing is all that matters. We probably wont go past ldon anyway, he just wants to play. We already do decent with the pets having the pally swords and our life taps.

He understands what he is doing , i just prefer we play together so i can keep an eye on him. He has been playing for about a year already,but he has been on my private server.(lol the 4.0 on ez has nothing on the stuff we created) So he is gonna have to learn all the play nice rules.

2.5, 3.0 pet procs 10k lifetap. 4.0 pet procs 25k lifetap.
Level 70 pet is the best until you get 2.5.

Well.. at least necro pet heals itself to get outta trouble. Look at mage pet, dies right off the bat, first ae hit in t2 content. Can't imagine what a waste of breath mage pet is there.

Mage 4.0 pets are pretty beefy. The high end mage heal spell does a lot, and most of the time t2+ people are grouped with a healer.
