 I am on a loner comp, go to start the client and am getting an error. it is saying memory error

  the instruction at 0x0377e086 referenced memory at 0x00000044. the memory could not be read.
 
 that is exactly what it says, fixed that once but been so long I can't remember how I fixed it. any ideas?

sounds like bard ram or it needs to be reseated

If the ram is bad the pc wont boot up usually. Though that could be the problem, hopefully it is not.

It is looking like maybe conflicting programs running in the background or maybe directx is not up to date or a driver. It is very likely software related. It could also be malware. Below is a google link and a few other links to some websites describing some common causes and fixes.

oh It is a new comp, and it has windows 8 running it. so far everything else is working like MQ2 and all. installed direct x and such, reinstalling game clients now, see if that works.

I don't know anything about windows 8 but if you are able to use compatibility mode like in W7 you might want to try playing around with that.
