ToFS Floors 4+ now drop only charm upgrade v2 instead of choosing from either v1 or v2.

Shaman Epics now will have cast time of 9 seconds instead of 20 seconds.

Nah, you'll live. It's ~60min and Crab is significantly less HP. Crab is 10k and 20k, while shaman epic is ~1.5k - 66k.

Compare Crab and Blessing of Oak to Shaman buff.   Crab 3 hrs,   Blessing of Oak is 2 hrs, Shaman buff 35 min.    This logic makes no sense.    I see no reason why shaman buff couldnt be longer.    Whats the reasoning behind having it shorter?

Making the shaman buff 1 hr makes sense when compared to the other HP buffs.

Apparently people that play and actually use a shaman do care.   People that do not play and or use a shaman do not care.   

Shouldnt matter if the buff is 1 hr,  if you do not play regularly or do not use a shaman it has no impact on you.

Brilliant logic. No idea the point you are trying to make though. I play a shaman and I have no problem rebuffing every 36 minutes. As long as the buff lasts longer than the cooldown on MGB not sure it makes much of a difference.

The shaman buff is the highest amount of raw HP (barring ungodly high end characters and Blessing of Ancient Oak scaling). It was also the first "real" HP buff for EZ Server. The Armor of the Crab came later (with T3/T4). The Blessing of Ancient Oak came just this last month.

When I play, I kept a shaman close. The cast time didn't bug me then and doesn't bug me now. The lack of AoE healing did bother me, so I corrected that. :-)


I know this seems like I'm picking on you, but that's part of EQ. Not every class will be the same simply because the other class gets something. Hunter may change this, but I'm not going to attempt it. I like having classes with differing abilities on differing timers. Makes it a bit harder to dump all buffs across all characters, then park half of your raid until you wipe.

Thats cool.   We all adapt and overcome.    Just putting the vote out there for a 60 min duration on shaman buff is all.      The aoe heal on shaman and druid were great changes, thank you.    Also, blessing of oak is a cool spell.
