Some updates:
  • Server logo by RedDwarf now installed at top of page banner
  • Server web hosting expired, so I was on call with customer support for a good hour or so jumping through the hoops necessary to migrate the services to an account that I have visibility over. The website should be good to go now.
  • Server Hardware Status Update: Server hardware that has been recently touched up by ex-player Crabwall has arrived at the dock. I will let folks know when we will be preparing it to be installed in Choopa datacenters and then we will migrate EZ Server services over to it, we should see an overall additional boost in server response once again. THANK YOU CRAB! Everyone else, please show your appreciation as it took him quite a while to go through and make sure everything is up to par. He went to the length of RMA'ing the motherboard and various other components to ensure we had the best shot at life expectancy and minimal issues when we install. He ran burn in tests and installed all new firmware on all of the components and refitted the once tower server into a rack chassis. Please give him some recognition, this took a lot off my plate and is much appreciated. More info here: http://ezserver.online/forums/index.php?topic=4248.0
  • Moving: I just got back from California and I will be moving here within the next week (Not to Cali) so I won't be taking care of some of the items I've had on my list to move on, but I think we're running just fine in the meantime. I will keep you all in touch.

No more donations until further notice. I will not fulfill them as of today, 5/31/2014

On my browser, Firefox 29, the logo covers the links at the top left of the screen and the underfoot/titanium pictures on the right also extend below the header somewhat obscuring the search box.

I'm no expert in web programming, but i think its to do with the positioning of the 3 logos

Code:
<img style=" position: absolute; top: 180px; right: 4%; z-index: 1000; " src="images/uf_logo.png"></img>
<img style=" position: absolute; top: 260px; right: 1%; z-index: 1000; " src="images/tit_logo.png"></img>
<img style=" position: absolute; top: 120px; left: 3%; z-index: 1000; width:auto; height:180px" src="images/ez_logo.png"></img>

From what i have noted
When logged out, all appears in correct position (tried in explorer, firefox and chrome)
When logged in, the web page moves up, but images remains in same location, (login box in header gone)
and if you shrink the header, again web page moves further up, images obscuring link bar etc

I may be wrong here, as i'm sure somebody knows a little more on web coding =)

Post a pic, I can make some adjustments if need be.

There I bound the elements to cage inside the banner div rather than bind to the page.

You should have better results.

Yep,
Thanks for the quick Fix Akka =)

Just as a thought, do you want the Titanium Edition on?
as the server really doesn't support it now
Just gives the impression that it does, ( for new players I mean )

There are a lot of players that start with it sometimes so yes.

I get what you mean though, UF is what statistically 95% of our players use today and that is what is preferred.

Not just preferred, necessary. At least if you use a lot of the items/spells created in the last 2 years or so, as they wont work with Titanium. If you're still using Titanium by the time you hit 70, I honestly dont see the point of playing. And, arguably, it makes a massive impact even before 70.

Sure, but there is still plenty of reason to allow and support Titanium. Many players come from P1999 or only know Titanium as the client to use in the EQEmu community, it breaks down the barrier to entry and allows players to be exposed to the server before having to commit to another client, thus serves as a gateway and there is no harm having it there. There are messages in game that tell players to upgrade their client immediately which in my opinion is enough.

This was more prevalent when the Underfoot client was less distributed, I have pushed the UF client into mainstream distribution over time and it is definitely the majority now.

The spell consideration is because of a hard coded ID bank limitation that the clients have enforced. You can make them work for older clients but it makes no sense when your newer client becomes more stable. This will be the same story with RoF which I will be looking at introducing here sometime in the near future.

Don't take this the wrong way. I love the logo and immediately recognized it as being that of the Dragon Alliance company. (http://www.dragonalliance.com/en-us/) It's one of my favorite companies and own several pairs of glasses and misc apparel. I highly doubt anyone from there will be visiting the site and hope it doesn't change anything. Just thought I'd throw that out there with copyright bullsh!t going on. Everyone so sue happy.

Nice catch Expletus
I just got from a "free" site, and modified a little. Thought it was just a public domain one, didn't see any mention of copyrights etc

Will speak to Akka, see how he want to play it, can either replace or I can change it I guess......

Darn, we'll have to look at a close alternative.

Thanks for the heads up. In the meantime it will stay there until we can get something that fits a similar bill. I like this one a lot and it fits EZ well in my opinion.
