Are fine.

My play times and grind time are abnormal.

Carry on with the plan of the day!

There are 3 core keys to avoiding nerfs on this server.

First, never tell Chunka anything.   Once Chunka learns of a strategy he will inform the whole server.   As we all know, once the server knows then a nerf will soon follow.   This rule cannot be stressed enough, it is like not feeding gremlins after midnight.   It is paramount that Chunka always be kept in the dark.

Second, if OH8 is ever in your instance, play like a nublet.   Make the game seem really hard.  Intentionally mess up, wipe if you have to.   This rule is tough as some of us have an epeen so big you can see the bulge through our plate mail.

Third, and unfortunately this is a bit out of our control, keep Fugi from maxing out.   Fugi is a good player and has a knack for finding the easy path to end game.    The thing is,  his ego is the size of his epeen and he wants to be the man.   That being said, he will use the tools he has identified to get him to end game.    Once done, he will inform OH8 that said tools need a nerf.    In this respect he is like Wormtongue sitting at the side of the King of Rohan feeding him verbal spew that will make the server suffer.

There you have it, 3 keys to avoiding nerfs on EZ.

#4 Keep Peign from posting in Forums about OP plat drops

... err...

Sorry just couldn't not post that

/dickmode off

But yeah, I agree with you, plat in T9 is really high - Hill Giant drops lots of plat and he's easy to spawn in significantly under an hour... kinda makes those in T9 make a disproportional amount of plat compared to all others

I don't understand the problem.

You can make 20mil a day? so can everyone else farming T9, which is apparently a significant portion of the server. Everyone who wants to buy the best stuff has the same amount of plat, sounds balanced.

I'm derping around in TOFS2-3 and HoH. I'm lucky to make 200k per day in normal plat / item drops; selling the occasional rainbows and ungodly-rare gemstones make a really nice extra income for those of us who can't farm T9.

You do not understand inflation then.    Economics 101.

For example.  Let's say you need CT essences to aug your group.

T9 folk don't want to farm CT essences they stink.  They are willing to now pay 750k per essence due to abundance of plat.

If you were to buy 2 it'd cost you 2 weeks of income, vs them it's 20 minutes.

Everything goes up across the board.

I’m not really convinced the trickle down effect really works

Trickle down does not apply here.  In a nutshell, the theory behind trickle down is that those with excess plat would generate businesses and thus employ those without.     Does not really apply to EQ.

So, if I received tax breaks on my millions (or simply had to pay less) then I could afford to invest more into my business and employ more people.

Those with excess plat (T9ers) are generating businesses and employing those of us lower down. It's called, "wtb CT essence" or "wtb gsoa". It's an at-will employment, i don't have to sell to you. but hell, if I can clear CT once and earn 2mil for my trouble cuz some T9er doesn't want to take the same amount of trouble, I'll do it. No one's making you spend that much either: you can buy it for the going rate, try to find someone who doesn't know what the going rate is and rip them off, or choose not to and instead farm them yourself.

At the top level, it's all related rates. If they drop plat in T9 by 50%, things will eventually see ~50% drop in prices. Yeah, I guess that will help people lower in progression who want to buy CT essence (and other stuff), but I'm not aware of such people existing...

In the scenario above, anyone < T9 would be forced to pay inflated prices or farm the gear themselves.

Really does not matter to me.   Was simply pointing out that the plat drop rates in T9 may need to be reviewed as the server economy is a bit out of balance.

lol I know, just having some fun. However the post below is a modified version of that theory. A newb can come in and farm a few of these and get lots of plat from a t9'er. Hence the loads of plat in T9 is trickling down to the lower level peeps. So while this is a great boost to the newb, it screws everyone in between due to higher item prices. I'm in T8 and I would never pay 750k for a CT or even 300k for an SLS cause the plat is too precious for me.

For example.  Let's say you need CT essences to aug your group.

So this guy is complaining he makes too much plat and there's guys out there who complain about a 8m GSoA when they are for sure the top 10 players ( leaderboards ) 20m plat a day,  probably not even hard grinding it just chilling people struggle to make even a mill or two a day. How about this have Akkadius or Hateborne delete everyone in t9 plat by 85% and leave everyone elses alone that will help the market. Stop trying to fuck the people that are coming up in tiers all of u end players do that shit, exploit the fuck out of something and then want it fixed.

First, who are you?

Second, control yourself little guy, no need to curse.  This is not the rants section.  Just simply pointing out a possible oversight.

Third, feel free to shut your socialist pie hole.   You have no idea how much I grind lol.    Ask the top 10 players how much play time they have.     How much play time do you have?

Puffs plus isle 5 at your grocery store to dry your lil QQ eyes.

My identity is to remain to my self. You do not need to know who I am but the words on your screen is what matters more, right?

Now that is laid out let's start off with, I will feel free to do with what I please just as much as you would do the same so don't try to act tough u pest

Also, like I said before you end game players exploit, it gets nerfed, complain, new players starting up have more difficulty than old gamers who went through the content originally

Edit: While you are right this is not a rants/flame section so I will /stop

Who Is You?

New players have it so so hard.   XP mask,  Chunka buffing every 2 min,  rainbow crystals dropping like rain, sitting in nexus begging for and getting loots.    Yeah, you new players have it rough.   Big time.
