As for the rest, if that's the way you want it, good luck in whatever other game you want to play. Sorry EZ isn't an afk for freeloot server for you anymore. Not trying to be a dick, but if this server is no longer what you want it to be, why keep up and question changes?

That's kind of a dramatic tone to take for perfectly valid view point. Just a few months ago it used to be that you could log in for a few and work on some things a little bit at a time here and there.  Not all of us want to block off 3 or 4 hours at a time in our schedules to work on progression.

Don't take it the wrong way; if anything it's an acknowledgement that you're working too hard. The post from the other day about dumping 30-50 hours, on top of work, in the EZ dev stuff, worried me.

We're all glad you got the keys to the Corvette because you spent the most time rebuilding it and we all trust you with it. Just...don't drive the Corvette to work, lol.

The point I was trying to make is that the way things are now isnt an improvement (at least not in my view, on the runs I've made since the changes). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop looking at negative feedback as an attack on you.....its not. Its feedback. Figured you'd wanna know.

While I'm inclined to take the good with the bad and keep my mouth shut, the sentiment that I'm getting is that maybe things are moving a little too quickly, too soon, and with things that weren't viewed as "broken" to begin with. You can't argue against the good, but the good doesn't necessarily make the bad "right".

Hunter rarely made more than one or two changes at a time and I really think there was some solid wisdom in that approach, even if people might be butthurt about certain issues for a little while.

Providing feedback on the above post ^  can say the tank is resisting all in T8 at 3000 resist.  Possibly indicating the new tank resist check is somewhere between 2500 and 3k.   Perhaps needing to be lowered?



2665 here and getting pwned quite quickly in T8.

Yeah, went from about 3300 resists to 2665 with a UW V. Not having trouble resisting anything in TOFS so /shrug. My pally with ~2000 resists is resisting everything as well. On the plus side, my damage output is slightly higher.

Dimur brought up a valid point. Maybe white damage across the board is a bit low. If I were to double the white damage on all the tier dropped weapons and then scale UWs 5x off the new value (which is effectively 2x the example previously), would this better suit the weapon?

The original "UW" was meant to be a fun, game-breaking, and hard to get item. It was certainly fun, wasn't that hard to get, and only broke the game as much as you allowed it to. You can always break the game if you want; I still remember the days of people 30 botting the MCP for 4.0 books. The UW just allows people to do that without loading up or so many chars or backflagging a compensatory flavor-of-the-week class character, and allows people to trade off little chunks of time in building the item for less time spent on the progression zones.

Honestly, I think the game post-UW was more fun than the game pre-UW, but then again, that's my personal view. I don't think the game should be built around the UW at all, because I think the UW should be what it originally was: an option to invest some time on questing to see a benefit on the time spent to progression. Have a UW and want the game to be harder? Un-equip or decrease your group! I haven't done t8/t9, so if that needs to be modified to not require the UW, then it should be modified.

Hate's current suggested solution sounds less like a fun or game breaking item, and more like an optional/marginally better epic for the respective tier. That's fine, but that's a different item, and arbitrarily so. I don't know what your plans are with the augs until you reveal them in their entirety, so I cannot speak to what degree they might influence my conclusion. I don't actually care what you do, but I hope the item retains a unique sense of fun above all else. Ideally, I believe that the UW should retain its game breaking capabilities; if I want to "break the game" (that alone is arguable for a mid ranged UW), it's hardly limiting the person who chooses not to (especially in light of how limited our economy is), as long as they do not have to suffer content tailored to the UW, and that could simply be solved by not tailoring the content to the UW.

Suggestion for the Easy Experience v1/v2/v3 items:

-Make an upgrade available for the difference in credits between each level, similar to how the UCs are on the Reward Item Vendor. For example, create a v2 upgrade for 250 credits, which can be combined with the v1 Easy Experience Item for a v2 Easy Experience reward item. Likewise, a 500 credit v3 upgrade to be combined with the v2 easy experience item. That way the items would build into each other and not penalize you for buying the first one before the others came out.

You aren't penalized. If you buy rank one and want to move up to rank two, email me. We can simply correct that with some intervention, much the same way that Hunter would have done it. Though a combine friendly route will be devised.

I've always liked Hate's work and, apparently, Basher's as well; I'm excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I want to thank everyone involved in the process for their hard work, as I'm sure it can be difficult given the circumstances.

This is devastating. I have no clue how to even respond, but it hurts. Hunter's one of the few people I have ever trusted to making the right decisions, for the right reasons. He is 100% the reason why I chose to invest so much time playing on this server.

You will be missed Hunter; I'm happy to have known you and I'm thankful for the time we had together. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I only play with 8 or 9 characters at most in t5/t6 and never lag, but I did notice significant lag in t5 when I teamed-up with someone about 3 weeks ago.
